Goldberg & Osborne Donates Funds to Mohave Downwinders
Source:
April 18, 2005

The Mohave Downwinders recently met to spread the word about the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act. The act, which went into effect in 2001, excludes residents of Mohave County between 1950 and 1962 who were exposed to radiation as a result of military nuclear weapons testing in the Nevada desert. The Mohave Downwinders are actively working to turnaround the exclusion.

Attorney Bryan Schiller of Goldberg & Osborne attended the meeting and presented a check for $5,000 on behalf of the firm to help the Mohave Downwinders continue their fight. Schiller believes it is a shame damage inflicted by the nuclear tests has not received the attention it deserves.

In addition to a donation, Schiller has offered his writing and editing services to aid the Mohave Downwinders in drafting letters to Congress and other government officials, as well as offered the use of office equipment to help the group create and distribute information.
