Asbestosis

Prolonged exposure to asbestos often causes a disease known as asbestosis. Asbestosis is a scarring of the lung tissue. This scarring reduces the ability of the lung tissue to expand and contract, thereby preventing the efficient delivery of oxygen from the lungs to the blood. Asbestosis makes breathing more difficult due to decreased lung volume.

A person suffering from asbestosis may have shortness of breath and find it difficult to participate in strenuous activity. Asbestosis is a slowly progressive disease and may take up to 30 years to develop.

If you or a loved one have been exposed to asbestos, and are suffering with asbestosis, you should call us now at 1-800-THE-EAGLE (1-800-843-3245)or SUBMIT A SHORT AND SIMPLE CASE FORM HERE. You may have a valid claim and be entitled to compensation for your injuries.
