In the United States, it is estimated that between 500,000 and 700,000 individuals have one or more of the symptoms of cerebral palsy.
Medical evidence suggests that 1 in 2000 babies suffer cerebral palsy injuries at birth. Annually, it is estimated that 5000 babies and infants are diagnosed with cerebral palsy and an additional 1,500 pre-school age children acquire the condition.
